About us
We are a couple in Lithuania. We make rugs by hand for keyboards, walls and pets. Each piece takes hours, and we try to make it as carefully as we can.
Return and cancellation
We accept a return within 7 days of delivery only in two cases: the rug has a clear defect caused by us, or the rug is clearly different from the photographs on this website.
Send photographs of the problem to us on Instagram or Facebook within those 7 days. The rug must be unused and unwashed. We do not accept a return because the rug was used and then no longer wanted.
Small differences in colour, texture or size are part of handmade work. They are not a defect.
Cancellation
You can cancel an order before the rug is shipped. Write to us on Instagram or Facebook. After the rug has shipped, the return rules above apply.
A custom rug made from your own photograph is made only for you. It cannot be cancelled after we have started making it, and it cannot be returned because of a change of mind.
Where the law gives a consumer in the European Union a right that this studio policy cannot remove, that legal right still applies.
Rug care
These rugs are tufted with acrylic yarn and held by glue on the back. Water, heat and hard brushing can undo that work.
Do not
- Do not wash it in a washing machine or put it in a dryer. Spinning and water can melt the glue, so the yarn falls out.
- Do not steam clean it, and do not use a hair dryer, radiator or heat gun. Acrylic yarn melts, and heat can crack the glue.
- Do not soak the whole rug, and do not leave it wet.
- Do not scrub it with a hard brush, and do not vacuum with a spinning beater bar. That pulls the tufts out.
- Do not pull loose threads or little fuzz balls. Snip them with scissors.
- Do not use bleach or a strong chemical cleaner.
- Do not fold it sharply, especially while it is damp.
- Do not leave it in harsh sun for days.
- Do not walk on it in outdoor shoes, and do not leave food or drinks sitting on it.
- Do not rub a spill. Rubbing pushes the stain deeper into the yarn.
How to clean a spot
- Lift the spill at once with a clean cloth or paper towel. Press and lift. Do not rub.
- Mix one small drop of mild dish soap into a cup of lukewarm water. Too much soap leaves a film on the yarn.
- Dampen a soft cloth with that water, then blot the spot. The cloth should be damp, not dripping.
- Blot again with a cloth and clean water, so the soap is gone.
- Press the spot with a dry towel. Let the rug dry flat in a room with air, away from heaters.
Dust can be lifted with a vacuum on low suction and with the brush turned off, or with the hose only. A little loose fuzz in the first weeks is normal.
